# Open Pstack with cross-provider support

**Stop bad code before your agents ship it.**

Pstack helps you build a repo where agents follow the engineering practices you’d expect from a human teammate: understand the codebase, investigate problems, make deliberate design choices, review changes, and verify that they work. `poteto-mode` coordinates that process, and a repo-specific verification skill gives agents a way to test real features. That lets you move faster and run more work in parallel without supervising every step.

Unlike Cursor’s original Pstack, which is limited to models available through Cursor, Open Pstack lets you [assign providers and models by role](#1-set-up-the-models) using your own provider subscriptions—so exploration, implementation, and review can each use a different provider and model. This cross-provider ability also comes with automatic failover when a worker hits a quota limit or a supported provider failure.

To make it work in **your** repo, [configure your models](#1-set-up-the-models), [create a verification skill](#2-add-verification-for-your-repository), then [use poteto-mode for each change](#3-use-poteto-mode). The verification skill includes a **feature map**: what your app does and how to check it. Keep that map current with `maintain-verification-skill` as the app changes. The goal is to catch mistakes through repeatable checks instead of trusting an agent's claim that it is done.

This distribution brings Pstack to **Codex and Claude Code**, with **Anthropic Claude, OpenAI Codex, xAI Grok, Devin, Cursor, Antigravity, and OpenCode** workers.
